Bariloche Steak & Burgers

Awesome restaurant with great food and service. Short walk from the sights. They are careful with your dietary needs as well.

We had a good time here and the food was amazing. Their meats are so good and also the burgers. The staffs was super kind.

Having lots of family from the city of Bariloche I had to try this place. It was Friday night in the busiest street in Amsterdam so the place was very full. We had a reservation so no problem. The empanadas were excellent and authentic, but served with ketchup was super weird. Maybe to suit Dutch tastes? I had the surf and turf. My steak didn't look nearly as nice as the cuts of my neighbors. I wouldn't choose this dish again but go for a bigger steak only. The fries were out of a bag and not fresh cut. The place was very busy with equal Dutch and tourists. There are also a LOT of servers making it feel much more crowded that necessary in my opinion. I can't say I saw any Argentines working here if that matters for authenticity.

Wonderful service, very good meat dishes, casual food that satisfies. Staff here are excellent. They are totally service minded and empathetic. We ordered 2 burgers and they were juicy and tasty. Grilled honey glaze chicken was very tender and delicious.

We recently dined here, and the experience was quite disappointing. The meat was extremely chewy, and despite ordering it medium, it arrived overcooked. After sending it back, it was returned even more chewy than before. The sides were equally unsatisfactory, with the seasoned rice and steak fries both lacking flavor and salt. To make matters worse, there was no attempt to compensate us for the poor meal. Instead, we were told that other items on the menu were better, despite having chosen the most expensive cuts – the ribeye and fillet. Overall, the meal did not meet our expectations, and the service did not make up for the subpar food.

The price doesn’t compare to the quality of the food. We ordered 3 ribeyes and they were almost full with fat. The expensive ribeyes didn’t contain anything on the side, no sauce nor fries. The staff removed plates and came with the food, when we were still eating the starter.
