Went last night for dinner. I'd heard a food podcast rave about a malaysian dish char kway teow (not here, just in general) so I wanted to try it With my GF we had: Char Kway Teow Laksa Kari Bami Malay Atjar The Laksa was my favourite of the bunch but all 3 were REALLY good. The place is very casual, unassuming, but the food is really amazing. Will definitely come back at some point.

Every time I visit Amsterdam, I stop by this place because it reminds me of home. The char kway teow was exceptionally delicious and had the nice char flavour of the wok. Servers were also very nice and helpful.

there were a variety of dishes to choose from, ranging from noodles to rice and curries. food was authentic and flavorful, true to asian taste buds decently priced for city area food and food portions, quick service catered to asian and halal consumers so everyone is welcome space is cramped so reservations may be best

A humble and cozy shop serving good food! We ordered the teh tarik, curry mee and nasi goreng nyonya. Being a Malaysian myself, I think the foods gave a homely taste, especially after being a way from home for long. Definitely recommend anybody craving for authentic Malaysian food to drop by and try. This place deserves more recognition than many other restaurants in Chinatown area.

This place is such a gem! I only had time for the hainanese chicken rice and the laksa, which were both very tasty and full of flavor. I will be back!

One of the standout culinary gems we discovered in Amsterdam. Every dish we tried was exceptional, and even my three-year-old devoured their meal without hesitation—a true sign of universally satisfying food. The fried rice and rice noodles are absolute must-tries, perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor. This is one spot I’ll be returning to without question on my next visit.
