Oh My Bun Nieuwezijds

I’m always in the mood for a good burger, and Oh My Bun! definitely delivered. We ordered the spicy chicken burgers along with the cheesy truffle fries, and the service was incredibly fast. Our food arrived in less than 10 minutes. We came around 18:45–19:00 and the place was already quite busy, with many tables occupied. The spicy chicken burger was honestly a 9 out of 10. The bun was super soft, the chicken was juicy and crispy, and the cheese added a nice creamy texture. The jalapeños gave it the perfect spicy kick. If the cheddar cheese had been slightly more melted, or if it came with caramelised onions, it would have been even better. The cheesy truffle fries were also a great surprise. I hadn’t tried truffle cheese before, but it tasted amazing. The fries were crispy and topped with a generous amount of sauce. The truffle flavour added a nice bite, and the cheese sauce was rich and gooey. It also comes with mayonnaise and ketchup on the side, which is a nice bonus. We’d definitely recommend ordering the spicy chicken burger with the cheesy truffle fries, because the spicy and cheesy flavours go really well together. We’ll for sure be back to try more items from the menu!
