Omonni

Omonni has been an incredible experience from the moment we placed our order to the time we left. The food is, without a doubt, delicious and with a great balance of spices. I especially loved being able to choose the sauce for the tenders or wings, which adds a really nice personal touch. Also, their chicken is Halal, which is something truly valuable nowadays. The fries (both versions) were cooked to the perfect level of crispiness, and they offer a great variety of drinks, from classic sodas like Coca Cola to Matcha. I also highly recommend trying their side dishes, such as kimchi and wakame salad, they’re definitely worth it. I will absolutely come back to Omonni on my next visit to Antwerp. Stumbled upon this little gem while on a walking adventure of Antwerp. I'd gone through the centre and though I was hungry, I wasn't quite feeling €20 croquettes, or similarly priced sandwiches, so I was wandering slowly back towards my hotel until the sign outside Omonni caught my eye. Accessible pricing! I snagged myself a one person meal deal, which got me 5 chicken tenders (or wings, if you prefer) with a magnificent honey garlic butter sauce, sweet potato fries, coleslaw and a can of Coke for the very decent price of €16.90! All of it came out promptly, hot, and very tasty! The chicken was juicy on the inside, the sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy and the coleslaw had a good crunch and was very well seasoned to cut though the flavours. I would have taken photos, but it looked too good to pause for anything of the sort. Grabbed myself a taro matcha latte on the way out, and that was just as tasty. A nice and invigorating hot drink for a moderate January afternoon with good sun. All in all? Highly recommend, nice little gem that offers good food for decent prices, much like Takumi.

Hands down the best Korean spot in Antwerp. Perfect for takeaway or a quick lunch, whether through Uber Eats or just by passing by. The staff is super friendly and I order from here once or twice a week without hesitation. Their bowls and chicken wings are always amazing, quick, fresh, and consistently delicious. This summer I was completely hooked on their matcha mango drink 🤍 Absolutely love this place and highly recommend it!
