Wow. This place can not be differently described than that. At O’Tagine you will experience the true Moroccan experience, and even more. I have been in Morocco and tasted the local deliciousness there, but at O’Tagine they even add something more to that. The food is super delicious, rich of so much ingredients and spices, meat that will literally melt in your meat as well the vegetables. Unfortunately we see that it is usually not so crowded, that is definitely a shame since this is by far the best restaurant in Antwerp. The staff is also very friendly! A main dish is rather on the expensive side from 20-25 euros but this is about the only restaurant in Antwerp where price quality is actually at a good ratio. Golden tip: book this restaurant via Social deal and you will pay 20 euros per person for 3-courses including mint tea at dessert and you can choose from the whole menu! Truely great experience!

Nice atmosphere, with friendly staff. We ordered Assortiment voorgerechten as the starter and Tagine kammama & Tagine marrakech as main dishes which were very well-cooked and tasty, the couscous was offered by the restaurant as a free dish which was also really delicious and well-cooked. We ordered mint tea after the main course and was so refreshing. The food is a bit expensive but the portions were good. From the photoes of google map I thought it is a self service restaurant, but it wasn’t.

Nice restaurant with quiet / intimate ambience at least when we went. We took the mixed starters, a Marrakesh tagine, and a chicken couscous. Portions are substantial, food was good but not spectacular.

My recent experience at this restaurant was nothing short of appalling. To my horror, I witnessed rats scurrying around the dining area, creating an unsanitary and uncomfortable atmosphere. The final straw came when I observed the cook dipping the spoon into a pot, tasting the food, and then returning the same spoon back into the pot. This blatant disregard for basic hygiene standards was utterly disgusting and unacceptable. I strongly advise against dining at this establishment, as the blatant lack of cleanliness and food handling practices raise serious concerns about the overall hygiene and safety of the place.
