We really enjoyed our time here. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food and coffee are delicious. The menu is simple and nice. This was exactly what my girlfriend and I were looking for in a brunch spot on a Saturday morning. My only complaint is that the food takes some time to be prepared; however, the staff asked for our feedback and acknowledged this issue. Other than that, we highly recommend this place. We will definitely be coming back

I went to Schattig on Saturday morning. Our breakfast at this restaurant was very pleasant! The food was great, the staff were very kind, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We had avocado toast with salmon and mushroom toast, and both were delicious. To drink, we had coffee, matcha pistachio latte, and rose lemonade, which were all amazing. I was afraid the lemonade would be too sweet, but it was perfect. The presentation of the dishes and drinks was impeccable. Schattig is definitely a restaurant I would visit again!

Very friendly staff, and vegan friendly menu. Lovely place to go for a day to relax on a more sunny day too be enjoyed on the outside and enjoy the waterside. Those cookies of chocolate and speculoos were to delicious i had to take some home. Love the fact that they were fresh baked and straight out of the oven, warm and gooey. A bit of nostalgia kicked in..... Definitely having to go back to do the brunch menu option and still hopefully get myself that cinnamon roll, fingers crossed.

The service was very nice, the food was amazing, and you’re not only getting a coffee, but you get a full experience! The design of the place is also eye-catching and minimalistic. Also, the theme is Moroccan, so it really feels like a short trip to Morocco! Will definitely come back

When I entered the cafe I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and was helped very quickly, I ordered the ice latte and the French toast and a friend of mine ordered the mushroom melt. They both looked amazing so we shared our meals. The French toast was amazing!! It was so soft and the speculoos flavor really elevated the whole dish. The mushroom melt was also delicious! The cheese paired well with the mushroom and made for a delicious sandwich. This place also has an amazing aesthetic and environment. I definitely recommend!

We tried this place yesterday for the first time and were curious to try this new cafe in Schiedam. The Ambiente and vibes are very nice, light colors and enough seating (inside and outside). The only problem was sadly the service, the waiting times were very long and the service did not really inform us or walked around much, to make sure everyone is alright. After 45 min of waiting, we received our food and sadly it was also the wrong order, they first blamed me for ordering it wrong, even though that was not the case. Anyway, after another 10min a kitchen staff member came to us to apologize and offered us a free drink. That was very kind and appreciated. The food and drinks were very nice and for that we would come back; since the cafe is only open for one and a half month the service probably and hopefully will improve.
