The reason behind this review is of course the great amazing food, but also the people that work there. It makes the experience even better when the workers there know what hospitality is all about, it’s very rare to find that in the Netherlands.

I used to visit this cafe every single day. I ordered the exact same thing every time, yet the price would constantly change. Even though it was the same order, one day they would charge me €20, the next €25, then €30, or even €35. ​Every time I walked in, the staff acted like they were miserable. They would intentionally turn on the heating/fans and close the windows just to make me feel suffocated. I would place my order, and it would take 20 to 30 minutes just to get it. You could tell they were doing it on purpose, acting as if they were doing me a huge favor by serving me. ​I kept coming daily for a month, and the situation only got worse. One of the workers was perfectly fine at first, but after a few days, another employee must have said something to him, because his attitude completely flipped. To this day, I still don't understand why. I used to enjoy going there every day, but the treatment kept getting worse until I finally stopped going altogether!! ​The service is absolutely terrible. This is one place I will never return to in my life. Something is seriously wrong there. It wasn’t just me, either I saw them treating other customers the exact same way, which is incredibly weird. Instead of trying to keep their customers, they seem happy to drive them away.

Presentation is a 10+ I did not expected that.. Compliments to the chef! Food was balanced. Tapenades were delicious combined with beyti. Staff very helpful and friendly. Surprisingly good restaurant, I will come back to test the rest of the menu.

Disappointing Experience, would Not Recommend! We had high hopes for this Turkish restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing today. The food was far from fresh, one of the meat dishes had such an odd and unpleasant taste that we couldn't eat it at all. When we politely raised this with the staff, hoping for some understanding, they were dismissive and unhelpful, "I WILL GIVE YOU DISCOUNT NEXT TIME" staff member added. What made the situation worse was that they still charged us for the dish we didn’t touch, despite our concerns. There was no apology, no offer to replace the meal, and certainly no sign of professional service, absolutely zero professionalism! The staff seemed more interested in rushing people through than offering a decent dining experience. I rarely leave negative reviews, but in this case, I feel compelled to share. Between the questionable food quality and the lack of customer care, this is not a place I’d return to or recommend to others.
