Absolutely delighted by this place and found it by a chance. Nestled in the heart of Indonesia's culinary scene, Batavia is a hidden gem with warm smiles, tantalizing aroma, and delightful dishes like their signature chicken rice bowl. The tender chicken, fragrant rice, and expert seasoning create a symphony of flavors that leave you craving more. With inviting ambiance and attentive service, it's a must-visit for anyone exploring Indonesian cuisine.

Nice restaurant and close to the city centre. We ordered Ayam Goreng Bumbu Madura and Mie Ayam. Ayam Goreng was great and was served with Tahu, Tempe, and some vegetables (9.5/10). Mie Ayam was okay-ish, but I would prefer normal chicken rather than minced chicken (too fine to my taste), like what I normally have when I am in Indonesia. So, I would give 7/10 for Mie Ayam. But this is subjective to my taste. For the drink, we ordered Pandan Latte and lemonade. Both were great.

I was actually looking for another restaurant when I stumbled upon this cozy nice place and glad I did. Didn't even realize that I was missing my Indonesian food badly until I ate there. I ordered tempe mendoan and bakwan malang accompanied by Indonesian jasmine tea. Enak banget lah pokoknya!

I never had the chance to eat Indonesian food and I'm very glad I found this place cause it was amazing. I went with a couple of friends and we really enjoyed everything. We chose to be seated in the garden that was very cozy. We felt like we were at home enjoying a dinner together. I really liked the vibes. The staff members were amazingly sweet. One of them even came afterwards to explain to us different parts of the dish. It was sweet of her. The food was so delicious and we'll definitely be coming back and try all the other dishes. Bonus points for the both limonades, they were exquisite.

The location is perfect and the atmosphere is really "feel good vibes". I went there for a Sunday brunch and it was delicious. I had a Ayam yamien (17€) but portion was quite small and my friend got the pancakes. The caramel ice latte is my highlight and I could have second one if my budget was not limited haha. The service was quick. If I have one improvement is the friendliness of the staff...more smiles will not harm anyone 😉.

Went on a Saturday (yesterday). The staff was super friendly and even gave recommendations. The wait for ordering and drinks took a while for us. Food was really nice, but also took a while to come out. The table that ordered after us even got their food first. So if you have time I would definitely recommend the place for their food. The interior is also very pretty
