Extremely tasty, this week I ate at both Ajisan and Maruki and you not only get more for your money's worth it's a lot tastier as well. Great halal options, some vegetarian options, amazing service and super clean and just well put together. Definitely my new go to place for Japanese food and Ramen in the Netherlands. P.s. not a great picture but the only one I snapped as I was enjoying the food

Great experience at Maruki. The atmosphere was great, very clean and friendly staff. Despite the place being pretty full and busy, the staff takes the time for you to answer any questions and place your order. They also have a prayer room that you can use. They take allergies into consideration and we were able to safely eat gluten free, egg free and dairy free. The salmon (which I usually don't like) was prepared very well and I actually liked the taste. It was very fresh, no fishy taste or strange texture. The prices are also very reasonable. The warm towel at the end was a very nice gesture as well. I am already planning our next visit.

My friend and I recently visited this first fully halal Japanese restaurant and I was really impressed. The moment we walked in, the interior immediately gave off zen vibes. They even have a prayer room, which is very much appreciated. The staff was friendly and attentive. Thank you for giving us tastefull recommendations! The prices were quite reasonable too considering the quality of the food. We loved everything we ordered, especially the ramen (Maruki Special). It was bursting with flavor. Overall, I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great Japanese restaurant. Can't wait to come again and try the rest of the menu!

A halal Japanese restaurant in Rotterdam. All their menu items use halal ingredients, from main courses to side dishes. As for the taste I would give it 4 stars. The food is tasty, but it's not the best. They could probably add something to enhance the richness of flavor or yumaminess as it’s not quite there yet. But you should try their chicken chasiu its really delicious, hence I recommend to order their Classic Ramen

It's a great initiative to have an Halal sushi restaurant. However, as a non-Muslim person, I think this is not the best place to eat Japanese. I opted for sushi, all the pieces were too big, they fell apart as there were too many ingredients and the rice was not the "sticky" type. My friends who ate Ramen overall liked it . I loved the gyozas and crispy algae tho. Unless you must eat halal, the experience sadly is not worth the price.

Always interested to check out new Japanese restaurants in Rotterdam, so we came to have some ramen. Have tried both the classic and the Maruki special. The classic ramen was way too light in flavour, not enough veggies and not enough meat, although the meat was decent. The Maruki special ramen was quite nice in flavour, but also lacked depth and veggies. Do have to say that the texture of the noodles was perfect. The karaage was also more of a KFC-style fried chicken than actual karaage. Will not come here again, as there are a few better options for Ramen very nearby.
