Day Dream Deli

I could literally write an essay about how wonderful this little joint is. I’ve been going here with my dad for a LONGGG time and only recently (after my dad moved away) did I manage to get to know the super sweet people working there, which made and still makes the experience of going there to grab a bite so much more better. I try to come here every Saturday afternoon after work, and when I do, it brightens my day to be welcomed in enthusiastically and to make myself at home. I normally always get the poutine, but one of the guys who works at daydream in the city center and has been working at this daydream for a few weeks now has been making sure to add variation to the things I’m eating, which is so awesome and it makes me look forward to every next Saturday. You guys at day dream Fahrenheit rock and deserve all the five stars!

Serious gourmet shit This establishment is like a little mom and pop spot. The young man with the brown curls is the friendliest and most wholesome person I've ever met at food spots like this. He told me he didn't have enough fries for two people so he offered to replace it with chicken nuggets and cheesebites which were absolutely delicious. I ordered two double truffle cheese burgers and the young man whipped it out like that. If you ever need a tasty burger made at lightning speeds, this is the place. It's a little bit expensive until you take that first bite and you know exactly what you paid for. Ignore everyone in these reviews who says they're unpleasant, they don't know what they're talking about. The people working this joint are very hard workers and they know what they're doing.

Great food, small place. Don't hesitate to visit. I would recommend the regular cheeseburger over the pastrami one. Imo doesn't have enough salt tbh. Also sweet potato fries over the regular ones.

As an aficionado of poutine and pastrami, I find this joint the absolute bomb. Fries were great, gravy and curds too. The pastrami is not too fat nor salty and melts into your mouth. Also got the hot sauce, which is a nice addition. Feels like you are in Canada while in NL!

First of all, when you walk in, you’re greeted by the lovely staff. It’s a small little place, but has nice decoration and the menu is hand drawn. The service is quick, and you can see how they make their amazing brisket and fries. When you get your food you can eat it there, but I recommend taking it home because there isn’t much space to sit. The food itself is amazing, especially the brisket which you can pull apart and melts in your mouth. The fries are also yummy, I think because they make them homemade. It’s a local little thing, while also being modern. Definitely recommend. By the way, you should go for lunch rather than dinner because they run out of brisket fast.

We are so lucky to have this place in our neighborhood! The food is great (we recommend the fries and chicken bites!) and the staff is always genuinely friendly and kind. Our kids love it here too. Eating inside is a bit of a squeeze, but the vibe is so nice it’s doesn’t matter much! Highly recommend
